What I got was what I expected in terms of songs and visuals, with the Scarfe graphics remaining fresh and undated, along with some additional music not found on the original album. There was also some tweaking of the wall assembly.
The newer graphics, which touch on those who perished in conflict and advice on being paranoid about the government, have a fascinating resonance in this tense election year. Matthew Whitaker's voice seems as strong as ever, and the band did a commendable job of capturing the Pink Floyd sound, including the other vocalists. Given that this has been a work in progress for many years, it's not surprising. One major thing that I missed from the original was David Gilmour's solo at the conclusion of 'Comfortably Numb', which had a lasting impact in 1980.
